Praise Elune for Noggenfoggers, Solarian Down!
Almost as easy as Al'ar, just more annoying. Hurray for yet another AoE zerg fest and anti-stupidity raid member fight, because you know, we have not already done this type of encounter at least twice before in SSC.
Regardless, everyone did an awesome job!
Crazyninja - [Heartrazor]
Arcaned - [Greaves of the Bloodwarder]
Sayurii - [Worldstorm Gauntlets]
We made it though Phase 1 Kael no problem. With 10 minutes left on the raid we got 2 of the weapons down on our 2nd try. Wish we got a chance to fight "epic hard" Kael'thas more before the nerf tomorrow, but hey, we are a raid that likes to make sure we covered all of our bases. Fight looks awesome!

Al'ar Goes Down In Flames!
It may seem like it's been a while since we had any new kills, but thats only because we have been farming out the rest of the Vashj vials so that we can have a smooth transition to Hyjal after we kill Kael'thas.
With the night still young after we just slaughtered Leo and Vashj (Leo down with 2 mins left on his enrage), we decided to go to Al'ar and get some practice in. We had come here last week and practiced the tank transitions in Phase 1, but never really attempted - or even explained - Phase 2. We figured Phase 2 would take us a few attempts. Boy were we wrong...
First attempt, no mats, our main tank in trash clearing gear..
I don't even know what happened. I was busy humming a tune in my head and when I turned around after killing another add, she was dead...
Veoh - [Band of Al'ar]
Fadel - [Mindstorm Wristbands]
Vallek - [Gloves of the Searing Grip]
Um...here we come Kael!

Vashj Gets Douched!
I told you she would die next chance we had...
GREAT JOB TO EVERYONE! Thanks to Dena, Lanie, and Chixor from Easy Company for coming out to help us, and thanks to all of our guildies who busted their butts to make this happen.
Tnerbo - [Destroyer Greathelm]
Guntac - [Crystalforge Greathelm]
Dragonzakura - [Belt of One-hundred Deaths]
Sayurii - [Lightfathom Scepter]
So how hard was Kale again....

Nalorakk Just Couldn't BEAR It
Nothing all that new to report. Lady Vashj to stage 3, gonna be maybe 1 more raid and she will be dead. On our off time today a few GnMers decided to head over to test to mess around in ZA. Let me tell you, ZA is beautiful and looks much fresher than what I thought would be a rehashed ZG. Took a few tries, but 1st boss down!
Look forward to seeing a Vashj kill shot soon...

He just didn't SEE it coming...Leo down!
Disappointed that we were unable to put any serious attempts on him in the past few weeks, we decided that after the amazingly fast raid a few days before where we dropped all his buddies in 1 shot, it was time to kill him. There was something in the air last night, and we just knew this guy would die. 4% first attempt, messed up pull 2nd attempt, dead on the 3rd attempt.
Grats Guntac and Grashi on our first T5 gloves! Also grats to Scorpie on his [Orca-Hide Boots]!
We just had to see her...
70% first and only attempt, 1 Shield Down...no clue what we were doing! This fight looks...uh...fun!?

Roving Murloc death squads...
So like we have a million new apps to our guild, and testing them takes a while, thus no new boss kills to report at this time. However, its not like we sit around all day and twiddle our thumbs...or at least most of us don't. What do you do when you have a Warsong Gulch game on your hands where the score has been 1/1 for over an hour?
You get bored and slow walk it down mid field back to their base while they huddle around confused...

Fathom-Lord Karathress gets deep sixed!
I don't know if it was me playing "Live to Win", or it was the magical presence of Sherie on the last attempt, but Naga and company finally died. This fight is not exactly hard, but boy does it punish you if even one person dies. Intense is the only word I can really think to describe it.
Phat purps went to Tnerbo [Destroyer Legguards] and Uki [Leggings of Tirisfal]. I would usually say grats to Sayurii on getting the [Fathom-Brooch of the Tidewalker] because he had to fight tooth and nail to get it over the other Shamans...but he's our only shaman so he got it defaulted to him. Like every other piece of shammy loot we've seen! So Shamans, if you love phat purps, please apply!
Grats on GnM's first T5 legs!

Morogrim Tidewalker swims with the fishes!
So we were going to originally going to put our MT on Murloc duty, mostly because I like to hear him theory craft for hours about the differences between Druid and Warrior tanks, game mechanics got the better of us however, and we were FORCED (thats right Tnerbo, FORCED!) to put him back on main tank duty.
1 Night...1 Kill
AMAZING job done by all, but even more so to all of our tanks and healers. Healing this fight is a real butt clencher. To continue Arcaned's amazing techno bot transformation into the most evil Retadin on the server, he picked up [Warboots of Obliteration]. We now also have a class confused Mage named Blixy who thinks hes a warlock with his [Illidari Shoulderpads]. Great job guildies!

Hydross the Unstable is put to rest!
Not a lot of guilds are fortunate enough to have most of their members really close real life friends. More so, we even get to have some of our lucky members come down and hang out with us in this beautiful paradise we call home.
Just so happens that this week, which turned out to be one of our more intense raid weeks, we had one of our mainland members here with us. Due to this, we were really just out to have fun rather than get things done. I guess having fun is the magic touch.
A big thanks goes out to all our GNM/EH family for really pulling though to farm the resist gear mats we needed to down this guy. Even old members and non raiders donated to the cause. For all the trouble this guy caused, he sure didn't leave us much in the way of phat purples, but it was a well deserved kill none the less.
Tnerbo - [Red Havoc Boots] Scorpie - [Idol of the Crescent Goddess] Arcaned - [Pauldrons of the Wardancer] Totally Pally shoulders!
Also, wanted to send a HUGE thanks out to Easy Companyand their GM Erhnam for hooking us up with Frozen Runes so we could get our Glacial Cloaks made!

The Lurker Below goes down!
This guy coulda dropped WEEKS ago if it wasn't for some silliness on our part. We ironed out the bugs we had and fried this fish. Holy crap its just....so easy... Sushi anyone?
Grats Sayurii on your [The Seal of Danzalar] (WTF...PvP stuff in a PvE instance? Shananagins!) and Scorpie for your ever so overused WoW hero reference [Grove-Bands of Remulos].

Dear Magtheridon: U LOSE! lolz!
It's about freaking time. 2nd attempt, no mats. Kung fu technique. 'Nuff said.
Phat lewt went to:
Caldito - [Netherblade Chestpiece]
Khalerity - [Justicar Chestpiece]
Uki - [Eredar Wand of Obliteration]
Guntac - [Magtheridon's Head]
Grashi - [Glaive of the Pit]
After we decided to head over to SSC and tackle the first boss...the elevator. As usual, 1 shot it. Then worked on the trash which we found was highly overrated. Made a few attempts on Lurker, this guy is easier than Void Reaver, gg.

Void Reaver dismantled!
Last night we took our first trip into The Eye. Last night we also got our first look at A'lar and Void Reaver. Right as we were making our last pulls to tackle Void Reaver, our MT got called in to do some military work...oh noes! Lucky for us we have a plethora of fantastic tanks. As many of you have heard, the encounter is very basic, however, we got "lucky" and got to learn it with a shortage of healers AND the arcane balls exploding early in a buggy fashion...HURRAY! Not to let that set us back, we gave it our best. No thats a bad Void Reaver! No more pretend motorcycle riding for you!
Grats goes out to Augh on his [Wristgaurds of Determination], Farahin on [Destroyer Shoulderblades], and Leva's [Mantle of the Avatar].
Now if we can get Mag consistently to 27% being short on our main raiders (damn you vacations!) and killing Void Reaver, imagine what we can do with our full force!
Also wanted to thank Geewar, Longersii, and Magecjohnson from D I G Z for coming out and helping us alleviate our short handedness!

Long time no update! It's not like we haven't been doing anything, to the contrary! We have been making sure our transition to raids beyond Gruul would be a smooth one, and boy has it been! Gruul's on farm status and with some adjustments in strats and some amazing playing by my fellow guildies, this was the result of our latest Magtheridon attempt:
That's our 8th attempt ever...2nd attempt with all the Channelers down. We had to call it after that since it was late, but rest assured he is one dead Pit Lord.
4-23-2007
Gruul the Dragonkiller is errr...killed!
We told you he would be dead the next time we showed up, and we are not ones to disappoint. We took him down to 26% no mats, matted up, and he handed over the purples. Grats to Uki on [Bloodmaw Magus-Blade], Tnerbo on [Gauntlets of Martial Perfection], and Demounter on his [Voidheart Leggings].
Thanks goes out to Dena and Geewar for coming to help us out.

With Karazhan more or less on one night clear status, a few people have been wanting to head over to Gruul's Lair to see how we would fair against the dragon killer. Despite it being the weekend, we were able to throw together a run last minute (like, seriously last minute. "Hey wanna do Gruul's tomorrow..." kinda thing). Yet again, we prove that skill > gear, and as usual, our famous "dry run kung fu technique" pulls it out! I believe we downed him on our 3rd good pull (we had a bunch of crappy pulls let me tell you...) no mats, no flask, nothing. The enjoyment of watching Maulgar run around at 50% chasing people all over the room was just to funny. Grats goes out to Aurius on his new helm [Maulgar's Warhelm] and Sayurii on his [Cyclone Shoulderpads]!
With the night already exceeding our original expectations, we headed over to Gruul to see if we could make any headway on learning the fight. We only got a few attempts in before we had to call it for the night, but rest assure, he will be dead the next time we decide to pay him a visit...
Big thanks goes out to our PUGs, and to Dena/Wugi for coming out and helping us learn the fights!

Karazhan 100% clear. In other news, Demounter was at 1,607dps on the 6min Illhoof fight with only 3 weakens. Take that you ruffians!
P.S. - Looking for someone with any kind of remote artistic ability. I know my cut/paste pictures are awesome...but...yah.
3-20-2007
He almost went down on our 3rd try...stupid 10k cleve. Soon after we started however we just about called it because one of our hot kitty Druids DC'd and could not get back on. Lucky we keep spare DPS in our back pocket and Repeats came in to save the day. Worked out for everyone in the end. We killed Nightbane and he got [Scaled Breastplate of Carnage] for all his trouble. Great job guys, wonder if we will ever try Illhoof? PvP here we go...
3-12-2007
Nothing much to say about this one. Dry run kung fu bla bla bla (which is true, 5th try)... Not bad for a raid that only gets togeather twice a week max. We got Netherspite down to around 20% before he bugged out on us...jerk. [Malchazeen] and [Ring of a Thousand Marks] went to Dragon, and GNM's first T4 helm went to Mr. Tnerbo. Not sure what joke there is to make about the way [Warbringer Greathelm] looks, but I'm sure there is one some where.

Having trouble on Aran with out 2 Warlocks? Follow Arcaned's simple diagram and you will have it down in no time.

Shade of Aran down. 3 left...

It's been a while since we had some news that was worth reporting. However, this last week GnM made our first trip into Karazhan as a guild. As usual, as soon as GnM walked in the door things started falling over and leaving nice purples on their bodies. We were just strolling along taking our free loot...till we came upon the Opera event. Thanks to Tef's wonderful predictions, we were lucky enough to get Romulo and Julianne, possibly one of the top 10 hardest fights in WoW at the moment. Just as the hype surounding them suggests, they are stupid hard, but good fun. After a night of learning and discussion, we came back a few days later, and as per tradition, we used our "2nd dry run" Kung-fu technique, and 2 shotted them. However, by "dry run" I mean a retarted amount of consumables ><
Not wanting to let a single achievement get our hopes to high about the rest of the instance, we plugged along over to the Curator. Congrats goes out to Guntac on GnM's first T4 and Tnerbo on some moderatly nice tanking pants.
Still having an hour left before we wanted to call it quits, we decided to check out the Chess event. As we had heard, the trash to the event was long and boring, but no matter. The actual event in its self is good fun. Our leet stratagy of "zerg their king" worked like a charm, and we picked up more purples. Lucky Mr. nerbo made out like a bandit and nabed him self a [King's Defender] and Arcaned picked up some crazy looking sewer cover shield [Triptych Shield of the Ancients] that increases his Ninja Turtle rep by +275.
Overall a great new instance to have fun in.
